On August 8th, we celebrated Digital Nomad Day!
To mark the occasion, we offered free 1-day passes and enjoyed an open coworking session with fellow nomads.
We had a great time chatting and working with everyone who joined us after seeing the announcement on Meetup. We also gave tours of the facility and enjoyed a delicious lunch at our neighboring café, Fukumori, known for its tasty set meals!
At S-TOKYO, we aim to create a space where local Japanese communities and international digital nomads can come together, blending the local with the global.
By fostering a community of digital nomads with a mindset of "crossing borders" and "co-creation," based at S-TOKYO, we believe that positive impacts will spread not only between individuals but also globally.|
We hope to continue creating a space where digital nomads can connect comfortably and new forms of co-creation can emerge.
"Digital Nomad Day" was established on August 8th, 2020, by Rootless Living Magazine (Indiana, USA), with the aim of promoting digital nomad culture. In Japan, the Japan Digital Nomad Association (Representative Directors: Chie Nakano Moe, Tetsuya Matsukawa; Location: Misato Town, Akita Prefecture) also designated August 8th as "Digital Nomad Day" to raise awareness and understanding of the digital nomad lifestyle within the country.
