"ARCH-ive" is an art project by S-TOKYO where we document and accumulate the vibrancy brought by collaborations with artists and gallery exhibitions.
The capitalized "ARCH" symbolizes a bridge, representing the location of Nihonbashi (meaning "Japan Bridge") and S-TOKYO's vision of "cross-border and co-creation." It also signifies a bridge connecting to the next artist. The name "ARCH-ive" was born with the idea of gathering artists who embody this bridging nature (suffix “-ive”).
S-TOKYO is a coworking space mainly aimed at digital nomads, travelers who work freely using IT technologies without being bound by a specific location. We aim to create a comfortable community space that provides them with new encounters and inspiration. They are, in essence, bridges that connect across nations, cultures, and languages.
Through this project, we hope to create many connections (bridges) to yet unknown worlds.
We are looking for artists who resonate with this concept and would like to hold a solo exhibition at S-TOKYO.

Event Overview
Rising artists from across Japan and around the world will hold solo exhibitions at our gallery in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
Frequency: Once a month, lasting 1 to 2 weeks.
Coworking space users will have the chance to encounter new art every month, creating opportunities to connect with the artists.
For Holding a Solo Exhibition
Gallery fee: Special price for this project at ¥5,500/day (tax included).
Payment: Cashless only.
Maximum usage period: 15 days (including setup and takedown days).
Venue: S-TOKYO 2F Map
No fee on Sundays: Typically, Sunday is set aside for setup or takedown (no staff available on Sundays).
Gallery hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (If you wish to extend hours, please consult with us).
Important Notes
Sales of artworks are not permitted on-site. Please guide buyers to your online store or take orders directly. S-TOKYO will not charge any sales commission.
Events primarily aimed at selling non-art goods are not allowed as they do not align with our concept.
Group exhibitions are not permitted, though two-person exhibitions are acceptable.
The gallery is a shared space, so other events involving food and drinks may take place during your exhibition. The space may also be used as a coworking lounge outside of gallery hours.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage or stains that may occur.
S-TOKYO will curate and promote the event as part of the "ARCH-ive" project, especially to our coworking users. However, you are free to choose the title for your solo exhibition and handle your own promotion.
If you plan to charge admission, please manage this independently. S-TOKYO staff will not handle money or sales management.
